Yeoor Fauna Hit by Decreasing Groundwater Table
After the fire that has taken a toll on the flora and fauna of Yeoor forest range in Thane, scorching summer heat is making the chances of reviving the lost natural habitats low. 14 of the 46 watering holes have already dried up and others are fast evaporating, causing birds and animals in the forest to move outside the forest in search of water.
