Footwear Giant Protests Business of Funeral Offerings
At specialty shops across Asia, the bereaved burn paper replicas of material goods like phones and sports cars, as offerings to relatives who have died, in a modern twist on an old Chinese custom. The parent company of Gucci has now informed six such local stores in just Hongkong, telling them to stop selling replicas with its famous trademark.
