Psych Doctors Favor Electroshock Treatment for Children
Watchdog groups are protesting against the American Psychiatric Association recommendation that electroshock therapy be used on children unresponsive to psychiatric drugs. Eight million U.S. children, of which one million are less than 5 years old, are prescribed psychiatric drugs, exposing them to side-effects like memory loss, and even death.
