Why Is the Most Successful Female Everest Climber Unknown?
Lhakpa Sherpa has climbed Everest summited Everest six times, more than any other woman in the world, but back home at Connecticut, she is a domestic abuse victim. She has just obtained divorce and lives in constant fear of being killed and also fear the lives of her daughters for whom she has custody. She works hard at two low-earning jobs.
