Catholic Hospitals Deny Women Emergency Services
Even though Catholic hospitals receive billions in taxpayer dollars, they deny critical care such as miscarriage treatment and sterilization, even in cases where the patient’s life is threatened. Health care is denied on the basis that they have been rejected by bishops. The rapid expansion of Catholic medical institutions can worsen the problems.
