Gender Influences How People Express Themselves on Facebook
Women use language that is characteristic of compassion and politeness while men are more hostile and impersonal, revealed a computational analysis of the words used by Facebook users. Women were found to mention friends, family and social life more often whereas men used angrier and argumentative language and discussed objects more than people.
