WHO: Coffee No Longer Deemed Possible Carcinogen
Twenty-five years after classifying coffee as a possible carcinogen leading to bladder cancer, the World Health Organization’s cancer research arm, IARC, has reversed course, saying that coffee is not classifiable as a carcinogen. But it also announced that drinking "very hot" beverages of any kind could potentially raise the cancer risk.
