Google Working On Own Internet Speed Test in Search Results
A month after Netflix launched fast.com, Google is trying out a way for people to check their internet speed by simply typing “check internet speed” into search. The internet speed test, performed by Google’s Measurement Lab tools, generally transfers ‘less than 40 MB’ of data, which could be a data-saving thing for mobile users.
