Syrian Immigrant Hopes to Rebuild His Chocolate Business in Canada

Syrians refugees in Canada are encouraged to take a year to adjust to Canadian life, before looking for work. But immigrant Assam Hadhad, once a chocolate maker in Syria, makes gourmet chocolates at home and sells them at the market, his sweets already garnering a reputation. He hopes to open a chocolate shop in Antigonish, and become financially independent again.
