3D Scan Guesses Age Based on Facial Features
Using a special 3D camera called the 3dMDface, researchers in China analyzed 3D facial images of over 300 men and women to determine the ages of the subjects in the study. The inquiry disclosed several patterns that occur as a person ages, from mouth size and shape as well as distance between the mouth and the nose.
