550,000-year-old Tooth of Human Ancestor Found in France

In a rare find, two archeology students-Valentin Loescher and Camille Jacquey- found a 550,000-year-old tooth from an ancestor of modern humans at a dig site in France. That’s so old that very few hominin fossils exist in Europe from that period of time, claimed the Tautavel Museum of Prehistory.That also makes the tooth the oldest hominine remain.
