Venezuela Cuts Down Working Hours to Overcome Energy Crisis
Venezuela is facing a major drought, which has depleted water levels at its main hydroelectric dam. To save on electricity, the government shortened work week to two days for public sector workers and also asked shopping centres to generate their own energy. Businessmen and opposition parties blame the crisis on government economic mismanagement.
