Sex Trafficking Risk Rises in Drought Hit India

The worst drought in decades across several states in India has affected about 330 million people, about quarter of its population. Thousands of people are migrating from rural areas in search of water, food and jobs. Destitute women, children and older family members left behind in the villages are most at risk of exploitation, fear the NGOs.
