Child Marriages Stopped by Village Girls’ Club in Jharkhand
The tiny village in central Jharkhand, where forced early marriage beset the girls of the community, has now been rocked by the adolescent girls’ club of the village. Armed with iron resolve and information, and trained on how to tackle issues they faced, the girls successfully put a stop to child marriages there.
