The Girl that Fled the U.S. to Escape Forced Chemotherapy
When Sarah was diagnosed with cancer in 2013 her parents initially agreed to chemotherapy, but they withdrew after their daughter’s condition worsened. The hospital legally tried to strip their rights to choose treatment.The family fled the country, and sought alternative medical treatment in Mexico and Canada. Sarah is now reportedly cancer-free.
