Happiness Genes Discovered and So Is the Cause of Depression


In a largest study on genes involved in human behavior, researchers found genes associated with subjective well-being - how happy a person thinks or feels about his or her life. The gene variants are expressed in central nervous system and adrenal or pancreas tissues. Research into happiness can offer new insights into the causes of depression.
