With 5 lakh road accidents in a year and 5,000 lives lost in crashes that resulted from driving over physical speed bumps, India now plans to use 3D paintings as virtual speedbreakers to deter high-speed motorists. Skeptics believe that illusion can cause sudden breaking accidents, or, motorists will stop slowing down once they know it’s 3-D.
