U.S. Plans to Deport Central American Immigrant Families
In an attempt to dissuade illegal immigration, the Obama administration, despite criticism from immigrant advocates, is planning to deport Central American mothers and children found to have entered the country illegally. They had sought asylum in the U.S. after fleeing turbulent Central American countries including Honduras and El Salvador.
