Afghan Ethnic Minorities Protest Over Power Project

The Afghan government halted work on the multi-million-dollar project to bring electricity from Turkmenistan after a ethnic minority group staged protest against what they see as their marginalization. The Hazaras demanded access to the electricity line earlier scheduled to go through the Hazara provinces, but later re-routed to Solang Pass.
