World’s Poorest Countries to Bear Brunt of Climate Change

New research, that examined the link between cumulative carbon dioxide emissions and more frequent hot days, shows that the poorest fifth of the global population, especially African countries, will experience more frequent heat extremes. These countries will experience daily heat extremes due to climate change sooner than wealthier nations.
