FDA Approves New Drug to Treat Bladder Cancer

The Food and Drug Administration approved a new immunotherapy drug developed by Roche to treat bladder cancer. The drug, called Tecentriq, works by unleashing the body’s immune system to attack tumors. Common side effects associated with Tecentriq were fatigue, decreased appetite, nausea, urinary tract infection, fever and constipation.
