Climate Change Behind Grizzly-Polar Bear Hybrid Likely

The grizzly-polar bear hybrid shot by a hunter days ago in northern Canada, is either a grolar, if the father is a grizzly, or pizzly, if the father is a polar bear. Scientists say the two bear species are breeding more often because climate change is causing them to cross paths. The behavioural characteristics of the hybrids is not yet known.
