A major redistribution of sediments over a large region at the edge of northern lowlands in Mars, lead scientists to think that two huge tsunamis, caused by meteorites, have swept across the surface of the Red Planet three billion years ago. For a tsunami to occur, an ocean is a must. So, the idea of an ocean on Mars is gaining popularity again.
