Teacher Quits to Run Food Truck for Former Teenage Convicts
Jordyn Lexton taught high school English to convicted teens at New York. Realising how bleak the future was once they were released from prison, she left teaching and started the nonprofit food truck Drive Change, which hires formerly incarcerated youth to operate the trucks, giving them an opportunity to earn money and gain job skills.
