Where 220 Indian languages have been lost in the last 50 years, a retired silk-weaver and magazine editor, is attempting to save the fast-vanishing Saurashtrian language, a mostly oral Indo-Aryan tongue, in a Tamil language dominant state. Neelarao and others are capturing it on camera in films that are generally homemade and self-financed.
