Barbaric Attack on Tribal People of Manipur in New Delhi
At least 25 persons sustained injuries when police brutally lathi-charged protesters who demonstrated outside Manipur Bhawan in New Delhi against three controversial bills, that tribals feel infringe on their land rights, passed by the north-east state assembly. The protesters comprised mostly tribal student union members and young professionals.
