Chennai Medical Student Dies after Hair-Transplant Surgery
After a medical student in Tamil Nadu died from a hair transplant procedure at an unlicensed hair transplant centre, the health department recommended using a tough law to regulate such centres dealing with surgical procedures including hair and wart removal. These centres often masquerade as beauty parlours, spas and hair treatment centres.
