Indonesian Doctors Reject Decree on Chemical Castration
Indonesia’s medical association rejected the presidential decree authorizing punishment of convicted child molesters with chemical castration, saying that chemical castration doesn’t guarantee the loss of potential sexually violent behavior. Australia, Russia, South Korea and the US have employed it as a punishment for convicted sex offenders.
