A Host of Common Chemicals Endanger Child Brain Development

Scientists are calling for renewed attention to the evidence that many common chemicals endanger neurodevelopment in fetus and children. The chemicals that are of most concern include lead, mercury, pesticides, phthalates in pharmaceuticals, plastics and personal care products, flame retardants, and wood and fossil fuels air pollutants, they say.
